Down Jackets

1. General Care:

  • Contains Non-Textile Parts of Animal Origin: Handle with care, and be mindful of its origins.
  • Keep Away from Fire: Keep the jacket away from open flames and heat sources.
  • Spot Clean: For stains, use a damp cloth with mild detergent. Gently dab the affected area and allow it to air dry.
  • Avoid Sharp Objects: Prevent tears by avoiding contact with sharp or abrasive surfaces.
  • Follow Care Label Instructions: Always adhere to the specific care instructions provided by the manufacturer.

2. Washing Instructions:

  • Machine Wash: Wash your down jacket on a gentle cycle with cold water.
  • Detergent: Use a mild detergent specifically designed for down or technical fabrics.
  • Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting. Add clean tennis balls or dryer balls to help redistribute the down and maintain loft.
  • Storage: Ensure the jacket is completely dry before storing it in a cool, dry place.

3. Repairs:

  • For tears or rips, use a patch or repair kit suitable for down jackets to prevent down from escaping.

Non-Down Jackets

1. General Care:

  • Avoid Strong Alkaline Substances: Exposure to strong alkaline substances can damage the fabric.

2. Washing Instructions:

  • Machine Wash: Wash in cold water with similar colours. Do not soak for more than 5 minutes to avoid reduced performance.
  • Do Not Bleach or Soak: Avoid bleach and do not soak the jacket.
  • Line Dry: Dry in the shade; do not tumble dry.
  • Ironing: Cool iron on the reverse side only; do not iron or scrub directly on the fabric.
  • Dry Cleaning: Do not dry clean.
