Bosideng Product Warranty

Our commitment to your satisfaction is paramount, and this warranty is designed to ensure that you are completely confident in the quality and durability of your Bosideng purchase.

1. Warranty Coverage

We offer a 2-year warranty on all Bosideng products purchased from our authorised UK channels. This warranty is designed to cover defects in material or workmanship that occur under normal use.

A. Warranty Resolution Timeline

  • Within 30 days of purchase: If a product is found to be faulty, we will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund.
  • After 30 days, but within 12 months: If a product is found to be faulty, we will offer a repair or replacement. If we are unable to repair or replace the item, a partial refund or full-value voucher will be provided.
  • After 12 months, but within 24 months: If a product is found to be faulty, we will offer a repair only. If the item cannot be repaired, an exchange will be offered at 50% of the original purchase price.

B. Warranty Coverage Details and Exclusions

Applicable Conditions:

This warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship, including but not limited to:

  • Material flaws (e.g., fabric tearing or fraying under normal use)
  • Faulty stitching (including seams that unravel or fail, leading to a loss of down insulation)
  • Zipper failure (broken or malfunctioning zippers)
  • Excessive down leakage caused by stitching flaws or poor seam sealing
  • Down clumping or lack of loft caused by defective filling or stitching

Exclusions:

This warranty does not extend to:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper care (including but not limited to incorrect washing, drying, or ironing methods)
  • Wear and tear due to regular use (such as fading, fraying, or stretching)
  • Alterations or repairs made by third parties not authorised by Bosideng
  • Products purchased from unauthorised sources or resold

2. Eligibility and Proof of Purchase

This warranty is only available to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase must be provided when making a warranty claim. Acceptable proof of purchase includes:

  • A valid receipt
  • An order confirmation email or transaction record from our UK website
  • A purchase receipt from our London Store or any approved third-party platform we work with

3. How to Make a Claim

To make a warranty claim, please follow the appropriate process depending on whether you are contacting us via email or visiting our London Flagship Store.

A. Making a Claim via Email

1. Contact Customer Service:
Reach out to our customer service team by emailing customercare@bosidengfashion.com. Please provide the following information in your email:

  • A brief description of the issue with the product.
  • Clear photographs showing the defect(s).
  • Proof of purchase (e.g., a valid receipt, an order confirmation email, or a transaction record from our UK website).

2. Submit Your Claim:
Once we receive your email with the required details, our customer service team will assess the issue and respond with next steps. We may request additional information or further clarification if necessary.

3. Claim Assessment and Resolution:
Our team will evaluate your claim based on the warranty terms. If approved, we will guide you through the resolution process, which may include a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the specific circumstances of your claim.

4. Return or Exchange (if applicable):
If your claim involves a return or exchange, our team will provide instructions on how to send the product back to us and any necessary steps to complete the process.


B. Making a Claim In-Person at Our London Flagship Store

1. Visit Us at the London Flagship Store:
If you are located near our London Flagship Store and would prefer to handle your warranty claim in person, you can visit us directly. Please bring the following items:

  • The product you wish to return or exchange.
  • A valid proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order confirmation email, or transaction record).

2. In-Store Claim Process:
Once in store, a member of our team will assist you in assessing the issue with the product. Depending on the nature of the defect, we will:

  • Assess the damage in person.
  • If the issue is eligible for warranty coverage, we will resolve it by offering a repair, replacement, or exchange on-site, subject to availability.

3. In-Store Resolution:
If the claim can be resolved at the store, we will either repair or replace the item immediately, or offer a store exchange based on the availability of the product. If the item cannot be repaired or replaced in store, we will advise you on the next steps.


4. Warranty Claim Resolution

If your claim is approved, we will resolve it by offering one of the following options, depending on the timeframe of the claim:

  • Within 30 days: Repair, replacement, or full refund.
  • Within 12 months: Repair or replacement; if unable to repair or replace, a partial refund or full-value voucher will be issued.
  • Within 24 months: Repair only; if the item cannot be repaired, an exchange at 50% of the original purchase price.

5. Exclusions

This warranty will be void if the product has been subjected to misuse, accidents, unauthorised alterations, or improper cleaning methods that do not adhere to our care instructions.

6. Statutory Rights

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law. You are entitled to certain legal rights regarding faulty or misdescribed goods, and this warranty does not affect those rights.

7. Gore-Tex 'Guaranteed To Keep You Dry' Black Label Products

For Bosideng products featuring Gore-Tex 'Guaranteed To Keep You Dry' Black Label technology, please note that these products come with their own warranty provided directly by Gore-Tex.

Gore-Tex offers a Guaranteed to Keep You Dry warranty for their waterproof and breathable fabrics, which ensures the product will remain waterproof for the lifetime of the product under normal use. This warranty is separate from the Bosideng warranty, but still provides confidence in the durability and performance of your Bosideng product with Gore-Tex technology.
